About Us

• Rajmohini Devi College of Agriculture and Research Station, Ambikapur is a constituent College of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur was inaugurate by Dr Raman Singh, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State. The first batch for the award of B.Sc. (Ag) was admitted during the academic session 2002-03. RMDCARS Ambikapur offering B.Sc. (Ag) Hons and M.Sc. (Ag) Agronomy degree courses.


• Although the activities at RMDCARS had established at Ambikapur in the year 2002-2003


• All the major activities of Vihwavidyalaya viz. Teaching, Research, Extension and seed production are being carried out at RMDCARS, Ambikapur.


• RMDCARS, Ambikapur is having the largest land acreage in Vishwavidyalaya of 684.00 ha, which is distributed in fifteen villages.
