The Swami Vivekanand Digital Library is a fully automated, state-of-the-art facility situated adjacent to the main college building. It is the primary learning resource center for UG, PG students, Ph.D. scholars, and agricultural scientists.
Affiliated centrally with the prestigious Nehru Library of IGKV, Raipur (recognized as the Regional Library of Central India by ICAR), our library provides seamless remote access to international databases, e-journals, and thesis repositories to foster high-quality research in hill agriculture and crop sciences.

Major Sections of Library
1. Reference & Text Book Section
Houses core agricultural books, competitive exam guides (JRF/SRF/PAT), encyclopedias, and dictionaries. Books here are strictly for reading inside the library premises.
2. Periodical & Magazine Section
Displays latest daily newspapers (Hindi & English), monthly agricultural magazines (Krishi Darshan, Kurukshetra), and printed journals.
3. Digital Library Lab
Equipped with 8 high-speed computers. Students use this section for OPAC search, filling online scholarship forms, and browsing ICAR databases.

Subscription to CABI e-Books, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, J-Gate Agriculture, and IndiaStat Socio-Economic Database for deeper research insights.
Library Rules & Regulations
- UG Students: Maximum 2 books for 14 days.
- PG Students: Maximum 3 books for 14 days.
- Faculty Members: Maximum 5 books for 30 days.
